I hopped over to the Brooklyn Bridge to take a wander over it to Brooklyn also getting my first glimpse of the Statue of Liberty out in the bay near the far side. The sun was just setting at this point giving me a great view back towards Manhattan from the riverside in Brooklyn taking in the famous view looking even more brilliant as night fell.
